Coffee Time!

I would like to show you this yummy coffee manicure that I wore a while ago, but didn't get a chance to post about until now. I'm hoping this coffee manicure will perk me up since I've been really tired lately...

This manicure started out with the OPI Liquid Sand It's All San Andreas's Fault. I stamped over it using Maybelline Bold Gold (70) and Pueen plates Pueen30 and Pueen32. The cup is stamped from plate 30 and the rest of the nails are stamped using plate 32. The pattern reminds me of cafe curtains and the dots just coordinate so perfectly with the dots on the cup. I added a bit of "steam" above the cup using that pattern as well.

I added a few gold stud accents to fit into the stamping pattern...

I really need to hide this gold polish from myself because I'm tempted to stamp EVERYTHING with it! I keep reaching for it every time and that's bad. OK, maybe not bad, but I do need to diversify. I just can't help it, gold looks great with everything... ;)

On a serious note... does this manicure make my fingers look fat? Maybe I put too much sugar in my coffee? ;)

Let me know what you think of this manicure! I love reading your comments! :)

Thanks for looking!
Anutka :)

  2. Beautiful colour combination and design! The sand texture reminds me of sugar and chocolate powder, I love both added in my coffee.

Call this crazy, but just now I was thinking which of my gold polishes would be suitable for stamping... I log on and promptly find this post with an answer! :D

  3. What other gold polish would be good for stamping? I have the hardest time getting my hands on the Maybelline one here in Germany, but everyone keeps recommending this one :(

  4. @Valens, Aww! You are so sweet! I would probably need someone to hide it from me because I'd never be able to do it :)

@Feline Cubicle, That does sound yummy in coffee... mmm! This gold is great for stamping! I use it all the time :)

@Lucy Lugacu, thank you so much! :)

@Victoria Eaves, Essie Good as Gold works great! China Glaze Passions is also said to work great, but I have not tried it yet. Once I get it, I will compare the three :)

  6. These are so cute. My co-workers tell me they're surprised I haven't done "coffee" nails yet because I have a "permanent IV of coffee at all times". LOL Very pretty!

  9. @Karen, I really should check out the rest of the metallics. I got my first Bold Gold gifted to me by a friend. I've just been looking for gold for so long that when I found this I got too excited to consider the rest :)

@Jen, Hehe! A coffee lover such as yourself should definitely do a coffee manicure then! I'd love to see it :)

@Glan Deas, I'm so glad that you like it! Mmmm! Coffee :)

    @Victoria, I'm glad I could help! :)
